The location, just a stone's throw from the train station, makes getting around a breeze. The friendly staff certainly contributed to a smooth check-in process, and I appreciated the efficiency of the 24-hour reception. The room was spacious enough for two, featuring air conditioning and a flat-screen TV that allowed me to unwind after a long day exploring nearby attractions like the Fuji World Heritage sites. I particularly enjoyed the free welcome drink during happy hour - nothing like a refreshing treat after a day of adventure! Plus, the buffet breakfast offered a decent variety that set me up for the day ahead. While I would have loved a bit more evening life nearby, the hotel's public bath provided a relaxing retreat after long day trips. Kuretake balances value with comforting amenities, making it an ideal option for budget-conscious travelers like myself.
